Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading Program is almost here!
The Summer Reading Program is every Friday during the summer, starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 12 noon, with all events taking place at City Hall.
We have guests, activities, and snacks. The reading program is open to all of the kids in Midway, all ages are welcome! Each week every child gets a new book that is theirs to keep! Check out the library!!
Keep checking back, as we finalize the dates and activities they will be posted here. Some of the events this year include: Extracting DNA from a Strawberry; the Crazy Goat Lady is coming back!; a miniature cow will be making an appearance; we will have someone from Prairie View A&M come and share about forensic medicine; there will be lots of fun and exciting things, please come join us!
And surprises at the end for all the participants!!
The registration form is below, please print out and complete one form for each child that will be participating in the program. The Brazos Valley Food Bank will be here in June and July with their Kids in the Kitchen program. They will provide a 30 minute program during the summer reading program, we ask that you call the office to get the kids signed up for those days as they will provide the snacks and they will need exact numbers and if your child/children have any food allergies.
